Inaugural ceremony of the 6th International Conference (ICAECT 2026)
Inaugural Function of ICAECT 2026 Held at Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Bhilai
Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus (SSTC), Bhilai hosted the Sixth International Conference on Advances in Electrical, Computing, Communications and Sustainable Technologies (ICAECT 2026) on January 8 and 9, 2026, at its campus in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
The conference, inaugurated with Shri I. P. Mishra, Chairman, Shri Gangajali Education Society, as the Chief Guest and Dr. Wooi Chin Leong, an expert in Wavelet Analysis, AI & ML in Renewable Energy from Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Malaysia as the Guest of Honor.
ICAECT 2026 functioned as a platform for academics, researchers, industry experts, and students from around the world to share ideas and present research in areas like Electrical Engineering, Computing, Communication Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Sustainable Technologies. The conference encompassed keynotes, presentations, and discussions that fostered academic conversation.
The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Pratap B. Deshmukh, Director, SSTC and Conference Chair, ICAECT 2026. Dr. Shimpy Ralhan, Organizing Chair, along with Dr. Samta Gajbhiye and Dr. Siddhartha Choubey, Organizing Co-Chairs, ensured the entire event proceeded without a hitch and attended by Dr. Smita Selot Registrar,Shri Shankaracharya Professional University.
The ICAECT 2026 conference wrapped up successfully, marking a further accomplishment in SSTC’s dedication to promoting good research, innovation, and global academic partnerships.

Batch-2018(Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
Going back to 2014 when my only aim was to graduate with an engineering degree but looking back to those 4 year, SSTC has played an integral part in my development as a capable Electrical and Electronics Engineer. The SSTC campus has constantly provided me with good opportunities and resources to improve myself. The faculty at EEE is second to none. They are proficient, accessible and patient which helps me to get good ranking in exams like GATE. To be honest, my Bachelors degree at SSTC majoring in EEE was interesting as well as eye opening.
I always cherish about the time I spent in my college with my friends and teachers. 04 years in S.S.C.E.T was a very crucial period of my life, where I learnt about team work, leadership and gained knowledge from highly qualified teachers. I my very thankful to SSCET for providing me an environment, where I could challenge myself for getting better every day, in terms of knowledge and personality.
It is always a pleasure to remember and write something for my alma mater. Had the most amazing time, interactions with well-learned teaching & lab staff, learnt how to deal with life professionally & personally and made countless memories during 2004-08, EEE batch. Blessed to be a part of that era and ever-thankful to all faculty & IP Mishra Sir for giving us the platform to germinate and grow.
SSTC is has carved the best out of me and instilled such confidence and decission making capabilites so that I can prove my worth in the contemporary times of cut throat competiotion in the open ocean of engineering field. The opportunities and support that college provided is tough to be paralleled. SSTC made an engineer out of me.
The practical & theoretical learnings in Mechanical engineering at SSCET paved the way for me to turn into an Industrial Economist, today.
The emotional transformation of engineering education…is based on a philosophy of education that is grounded in the real world and in the lives of the students.…In the right atmosphere of SSTC, the change flows organically from the students themselves.
It is an exciting time when you have your whole life ahead of you with lots to discover in carving your own life’s path. Take full advantage of this time to mold and shape the “you” of the future! SSTC believes in you, and always supports you.
I personally feel that opting for Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) helped me a lot to pursue my career in multiple directions. As I was a student of EEE (2013 batch), I got the knowledge for both Electrical and Electronic.. and as far as Government jobs are concerned, we have enormous opportunities to go ahead with these 2 options. Moreover after my Engineering i have done PGDAC in Advance Computing, which enabled jobs in private sector as well.
I got an opportunity to work with Honeywell Inc. and Bosch as an Embedded Engineer due to the Branch that I have opted for.
Now being an Embedded Engineer I am able to utilize my BE knowledge [specific to Hardware] and also able to relate this with software as per the requirements.
Also the faculty members of SSTC made these journey easy with their knowledge and support.
